This line will be updated when regular hours of operation are altered due to ice conditions. An emergency phone is in the lower level of Discovery Landing for all 9-1-1 calls.
Skating Hours (weather conditions permitting):
Daily, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Skate Lending Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 5 to 9 p.m.
Friday, 5 to 10 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday and during school breaks, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sizes and styles are subject to availability. First come, first served. Skate aids are available.
Ice Maintenance
The City of Burlington may close the rink for safety reasons at any time or for periodic maintenance. During all ice maintenance, please stand back and do not go on the ice surface when the red light is flashing.
Schedule may be adjusted based on weather conditions and ice rinks usage.
Ice flooding schedule
12:30 to 1 p.m.
2:30 to 3 p.m.
5:30 to 6 p.m.
8:30 to 9 p.m.
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please follow the rules.
Skate during designated hours only.
Report any accidents or injuries to staff immediately.
Follow the flow of other skaters; no backwards skating or figure maneuvers.
Avoid high speeds and erratic movements to ensure everyone’s safety.
Avoid horseplay, spraying, or throwing snow.
Refrain from carrying others (e.g., children) while on the ice.
CSA-approved helmets are recommended and are required for children six years old and under in arenas and on our outdoor skating surface
Hockey nets, sticks, pucks and balls are not allowed on the outdoor ice or
Keep pets, food or drinks off the rinks
Wear skates if you are on the skating surface
To ensure everyone's safety while skating, skate blades are to remain on the ice or in a gliding position close to the ice surface
You are welcome to bring skate aids for those new to skating
Strollers are not permitted on the ice surface
Private lessons or coaching on the ice surface is strictly prohibited during outdoor skating
