The City of Burlington celebrated the grand opening of it's newest and largest park, City View Park, on June 23, 2012. Located on Kerns road near Dundas St, west of Brant St, it is made up of a naturalized park area and former farmer’s fields that have been converted for recreational uses. This 165-acre park balances both active and passive park amenities including 3 artificial turf sports fields and lighting, a playground, naturalized areas, trails and plenty of parking.
